This picture may as well be renamed Sunshine Tower. With mobile telephony spreading in India like hedges everywhere, towers like these are very important infrastructural landmarks dotting the digital landscape of the country. Any visitor doing a round of the rural areas will find these tall towers everywhere signaling the arrival of mobile telephony in areas around it and beyond too. It is worthwhile to note that India is adding 10m mobile phone users every month on an average, one of the highest growth rates in the world.
