| School of Journalism and New Media Studies (SOJNMS), IGNOU now teams up with DW-Akademie of Deutsche Welle (DW) to offer hands-on training on the advancements on Web 2.0. Titled ‘Beyond Web 2.0: Multimedia Journalism and Social Media’ the training workshop will be organised between June 14th to 25th June 2010, at IGNOU Campus in Maidan Garhi, New Delhi. Web 2.0 is heavily relied upon not only by professionals from the media to achieve instantaneous dissemination of — and feedback on — evolving events, but also by other professionals in their day-to-day professional or personal lives. The workshop will give hands-on exposure to communication technologies that are being increasingly used by a multitude of professionals. This is an excellent and unique opportunity to get acquainted with evolving technologies in communication / media.
